Kids are great, families are great. And I love capturing them in all their wonderful, imperfect, everyday glory! Having two wee ones myself I know how quickly they change, grow up, how much you want to hold onto them the way they are now. Being together is all that matters to them, and all that I really want to document in my family photography. I choose not to shoot in the studio as I don’t want to create an artificial environment but rather capture you in your natural habitat..it could be your home or a location we choose together like a park, beach or a hill side. You can just be yourselves, play, talk and laugh if you feel like it. Kids can run, jump and dance, and express themselves whichever way they want. Nobody needs to sit and smile, I want you to be yourselves, to interact like you normally do, as if no one was watching. I want to capture the moments that will bring real memories back in the future. I don’t rush the shoot, I want you to feel relaxed with me and the camera.
